The mysterious plot of Among the Trolls will send the user to survive among the Finnish forests, shrouded in myths and secrets. First of all, the player will take custody of Anna or Alex one of two available characters, which differ slightly in terms of strength and endurance. In the story, the chosen protagonist decides to briefly leave home in America to spend time at his grandparents' cabin located in a remote region of Finland. But when he arrived at the place, he discovered that not a single living soul had appeared in this place for a long time. The hero will have to remember the fairy tales he learned in childhood in order to find his relatives.

From now on, survival in Among the Trolls will begin. A developed crafting system will allow you to create items that are needed for buildings and protection. Some processes here are as close as possible to how they are performed in real life, so you don’t have to guess what to use and with what. You can get much more pleasure from construction in the cooperative mode: together, players will no longer build modest shacks, but large-scale structures, and one of them, if desired, can only take on the role of an architect. But simply finding resources will not be enough. This mysterious forest has its own rules, so you will have to pay with offerings so that the spirits do not attack the protagonist.

More and more immersed in the atmosphere of legends, the player will learn 3 mystical powers:

• Waki — the ability to call rain with songs or illuminate night paths with the northern lights.
• Likki — good luck.
• Sisu is a special form of resilience.
