No Sleep For Kaname Date From AI THE SOMNIUM FILES puts the player in control of investigator Kaname Date. The story begins when internet idol Iris is kidnapped by suspected aliens, and ends up aboard a UFO, forced into a survival challenge. Isolated and trapped, Iris relies on Date's specialized skills to navigate her circumstances. The central objective is to guide the investigation, solve the puzzles presented, and help the girl find her way out of captivity. Gameplay in No Sleep For Kaname Date From AI THE SOMNIUM FILES is structured around 3 distinct gameplay segments. The Investigation phase utilizes the advanced features of Date's cybernetic left eye to uncover clues and information about Iris's whereabouts.

This process involves interacting with a variety of characters, both new and familiar. The key mechanic of the project is the ability to Psink into Somnium, a surreal world of the subconscious of people of interest, allowing you to find secret clues and repressed memories. The final element is Escape, which challenges the gamer to solve problems while exploring a confined space. Progress requires thinking beyond obvious logic to find the right answers to the riddles of the environment. Successfully passing these mental tests opens the way to freedom for the captive. All these investigative and deductive elements come together in the process of uncovering the conspiracy behind the event known as the Third Eye game.
