Crisis in the Kremlin The Cold War is a political strategy simulation that puts you in charge of the Soviet Union in its final decade. The game shows a country facing pressure from internal factions and external forces demanding change. As the head of state, you manage the economy, foreign relations, and determine the internal course of the union. Gameplay involves interacting with other nations, using diplomatic channels, or starting proxy conflicts to expand your influence.

The player’s actions extend to the state budget and scientific research, where you can allocate funds for projects such as the Soviet Internet, or continue the space race to the Moon and Mars. The diplomatic line is determined by your decisions, creating hostility or cooperation with the West, China and other powers. This strategy allows you to interfere in international events, changing the established historical trajectories. You can also revive former republics, support liberation movements or create completely new countries on the map.
