About The Game
Crimson Desert is an action-adventure game with both multiplayer and single-player content. Initially developed as a prequel to Black Desert Online, the project evolved into a standalone game set in the same universe. The player joins a group of mercenaries living in a fantasy world on the deadly continent of Pyvel, inhabited by dragons, colossal monsters, and unique creatures.
In multiplayer mode, you'll need to create a character before beginning your journey. The character editor allows you to customize all aspects of your character's appearance and starting stats. In the single-player campaign, you always control MacDuff and his team. Control can be swapped between squad members and access the special abilities of other characters. The gameplay features numerous references to adventure films and books. At times, players will be required to make choices that won't affect the ending.
The online server can host thousands of players simultaneously. They interact with each other, fight, trade, and form guilds. You can team up with companions to clear dungeons or confront bosses. Crimson Desert's signature feature is dragon flying. Each user can obtain their own beast, mount it, and travel the world. Powerful mounts have specific abilities and stats, and battles can be waged while in flight. PvP content includes sieges, where two sides wage war. One side can defend territories, while the other attacks castles or cities.

How to Install
1. Download Location Download the files to a convenient location.
The path to the game folder must not contain any Cyrillic characters.
2. Download Archive Download the archive: Crimson.Desert-DenuvOwO.rar (#1 | #2)
3. Prepare the Game Read the included instructions carefully. Copy the contents of the "DenuvOwO" folder into your game directory. Launch the game afterward.
Hypervisor Requirements Releases using a hypervisor require certain security features to be disabled.
System Preparation Run VBS.cmd as Administrator. Carefully read all on-screen information before proceeding. After finishing gameplay, it is strongly recommended to revert any changes.
Source Code (Optional) The hypervisor driver source code is located in DenuvOwO_SRC.zip. This is intended for advanced users only. Regular users do not need to open or use this archive.
Launching the Game Run: steamclient_loader_x64.exe as Administrator
Optional Setting: Disable AutoLoadHV in DenuvOwO.ini if you want to load the hypervisor manually.
AutoLoadHV Behavior If enabled: Hypervisor loads automatically Requires Administrator privileges Unloads via watchdog.exe If disabled: No admin rights needed to launch the game You must manually manage the driver service (advanced users only)
Manual Driver Setup (Advanced) Driver files are located in: DenuvOwO\bin64 (adjust path accordingly)
Run the following commands in Command Prompt (Administrator): sc create SimpleSvm type= kernel binPath= "C:\Your\Path\To\Driver\SimpleSvm.sys" sc start SimpleSvm
sc stop SimpleSvm (after exiting the game)
sc delete SimpleSvm
Driver Notes For Intel systems, the driver file is hyperkd.sys Additional required files are located nearby All related files begin with "hyper"
