Where only vague memories of humanity remain, through the eyes of Clyde, a clumsy snail who loves fights and drinking. Clyde and his faithful friend, a chattering firefly named Bella, are driven from their native citadel, but they find a new home after meeting a motley company of outcasts. Together with new friends, they must defeat a mysterious disease that causes rabies in snails. Experiment with weapons, grenades and unique shells to outwit enemies. Use your surroundings to gain an advantage in battle, and learn to take the most advantageous position. The shy hedgehog, the shaman turtle, the dumb bat, the ninja frog and the one-eyed chameleon are all part of a group called Alastor.
