Sapiens — is a prehistoric survival simulator with strategy elements. It is proposed to feel like an architect of the settlements of primitive people. A tribe of hunters and gatherers comes under control. It is required to increase the number of controlled units, equip camps, develop a prosperous civilization over the millennia. It is necessary to assign work to fellow tribesmen and determine the role of each, forming a developed social formation from scratch. You will have to engage in diplomacy and military affairs, grow crops, clear and cultivate the territory.

The menu has a branched technological tree, in which abilities are gradually opened. Mechanics provides for the manufacture and improvement of means of production. Sapiens is divided into several regions with different climates, topography and landscapes. You should choose favorable conditions for settlement. Each area is distinguished by individual characteristics and suitability for a particular type of activity. The key role belongs to weather factors, the location of water bodies, soil fertility. A scoring system has been developed. We need to look for resources, provide people with food, water, building materials, clothing. Most of the locations are valleys with lush vegetation. It is necessary to organize reliable protection against the attack of wild animals. To this end, fires are made, fences are built, and approaches to the shelter are strengthened.
