SENRAN KAGURA SHINOVI VERSUS — continues the events of the previous part, talking about the long feud between the girls from the National Hanzo Academy and their sworn enemies from the Clandestine Academy. The latter in turn went underground to create a strike force of mercenaries known as the Crimson Squad. But they will not be the only opponents of the heroines from the Hanzo Academy, because shinobi from Hesse have appeared on the horizon, also claiming to be the strongest. Each of the parties is ready to make every effort to defeat opponents and become an absolute force in this world.

Gameplay in SENRAN KAGURA SHINOVI VERSUS is a fighting game with an out-of-the-box approach. Here, gamers are not driven into the narrow confines of the arena, where you need to move in a narrow space. On the contrary, the heroine gains freedom of movement, which makes it easier to fight enemies. So, if the crowd tries to surround the protagonist, she can run out, or punch her way through a living wall. In total, the system provides a choice of 20 playable characters with their own set of skills and fighting style. Some have increased attack speed and overall mobility, while others use sweeping strikes to deal area damage. And given the possibility of combining movements, this approach will be especially effective. The reward for a successful battle will be gold coins, for which you can later purchase costumes. True, this will only be a cosmetic effect, so you should not expect a significant increase in strength, agility or other attributes.
