POSTAL Brain Damaged — is a first-person shooter that is a continuation of the famous Postal series of ultra-brutal games. The game is made in a retro formula it offers a classic gameplay model and graphic design, stylized for games from the 90s. Two Polish companies are responsible for its development Hyperstrange and CreativeForge Games. Publisher works with scissors powered by Hyperstrange. We take on the role of the psychopathic protagonist known as The Dude. The hero wakes up in a psychiatric hospital. Due to severe brain damage, the surrounding world is full of grotesque images and strange monsters that require extermination.

POSTAL Brain Damaged is a classic first-person shooter. The goal of the developers was to offer players a game with a reference to old games. The gameplay here is mainly about traveling through locations we walk around the hospital, Area 69 and the comic book convention and eliminating other enemies with the available weapons for example, a double-barreled shotgun, pistol, rifle, shovel or grenade launcher, the tip of which looks like a clown’s head. The game is not too difficult agility and accuracy are important here, and the best way to stay alive is to keep moving. Knowing how to attack certain types of enemies including zombies and aliens is also key.

From time to time, we also have to face a powerful boss. In addition to battles, we also overcome various obstacles for example, chasms mainly by jumping. In Postal Brain Damaged, we can only play alone. The core of the game is the single player mode. The game has fairly simple 3D graphics. The graphics are retro this refers to the style and level of technological advancement like textures of the games that were popular in the 1990s and early this century. The game is extremely brutal, but one cannot deny the characteristic psychedelic atmosphere and dark humor that is the hallmark of this series.
