About The Game

Torn Away is a game at the intersection of platformers and adventure games, enriched with stealth elements. The production was developed by independent studio Perelesoq and published by Nordcurrent. The plot of Torn Awayis is based on the diaries of children during the Second World War. The main character of the game is ten-year-old Asya, who became an ostarbeiter after the destruction of her family home. When the opportunity presented itself, the main character escaped from the forced labor camp. During the game, we accompany her on her journey back to the East, which for her is a real battle for survival.

In Torn Away we observe what is happening from the outside. Traveling through stages, among which we can find ruined cities, villages and desert, we must first of all look for food and protect ourselves from harsh weather conditions such as rain, snow or frost. In addition, during the game we overcome many obstacles in the area and solve simple puzzles. Since the heroine is completely defenseless, she also has to hide from enemy soldiers. During the expedition, Asya witnesses tragic and traumatic events; many of them we can see through her eyes FPP.
