About The Game

Northgard Vordr Clan of the Owl — Across the eons, the mystical norns of Vördr stand as vigilant overseers, watching over realms not only within Northgard but also extending beyond its borders. As the devoted guardians of Yggdrasil, the trio of sisters Skuld, Verdandi, and Urdr tap into the sacred tree’s power to disseminate knowledge expansively across the varied terrain. These emissaries of the tree, these three sisters, emerge as stewards of the clan’s prosperity. Skuld, the youngest, fuels clan expansion with her vibrant energy. Verdandi, the middle sister, safeguards Yggdrasil and forges connections between the clan and the surrounding world. Urdr, the eldest, leads the clan in an endless pursuit of knowledge, profoundly linked to Yggdrasil.

A chosen sister assumes the mantle of leadership, addressing the needs of their people based on their unique attributes. Endowed by Yggdrasil’s blessings, Vördr foregoes the need for wood gathering; their sacred duty lies in nourishing the ancient tree with the lore they accumulate, fostering its growth in diverse manifestations. Yggdrasil serves as the cornerstone for their structures and acts as a conduit for spreading their enigmatic branches across the realms of Northgard. These branches, enriched with knowledge, reach out to neutral, allied, or even hostile lands as the situation demands. In this distinctive paradigm, wood is not harvested; instead, forests yield lore for construction. The branches of Yggdrasil carry knowledge that shapes the territories they occupy and influences the clans they are affiliated with. The Norns, adept in the wilderness, unlock ruins, investigate shipwrecks, and can be assigned to lore production buildings in neutral territories.
