About The Game

Dead Cells The Bad Seed is the first paid DLC for Dead Cells, which will add two locations to the game: the Ruined Arboretum and the Swamp of Exiles, which are inhabited by mushrooms, bloodsuckers, mutants and toadies. DLC will also introduce the uterus tick boss, comparable in complexity to the gatekeeper, and will appear on PC. Dead Cells — tands out very much from dozens of similar indie games, in particular, among all other representatives of the metrodiving genre. She does not focus on complexity, although complexity is above average.

It does not force the user to delve into some intricate plot, with some unexpected twists, stories about extinct civilizations, about gods, villains, and so on. At its core, Motion Twin’s media product is designed to make fun of all the cliches and stereotypes of the genre. In the best traditions of games of this kind, in Dead Cells the death of a character is permanent, and entails the loss of accumulated wealth.

  • The Heart of the Swamp: Domain of mama tick, if you’ve seen StarShip Troopers, you get the idea.

    1. Important features
    2. Prevented the doors to the Morass appearing if the DLC isn't owned or if you haven't been to the Arboretum at least once (DLC).
    3. Balancing
    4. The little mushies in the Arboretum can now be dodged with a roll when thrown by their adult counterparts (the bigger mushrooms of Arboretum) (DLC).
    5. Graphics & UI
    6. Removed the pop-up window when using a save on a newer version. It was confusing people more than anything else.
    7. Bug fixes
    8. Fixed the Gardener's corpse dropping infinite keys and blueprints (DLC).
    9. Fixed blowgunners jump related crashes (DLC).
    10. Fixed the Ninja skin going pink.
    11. Fixed custom modes adding mobs crashing the game
    12. Fixed some crashes when loading a save.
    13. Fixed the lights not glowing in the transition level between Prison Depths and Morass (DLC).

    Update v1.7.2:
    1. Balancing
    2. Enemies in a shop room with you are now able to attack you, but ranged enemies outside the shop can't shoot at you. This will prevent ranged enemies to shoot at you while you shop, while fixing weird behaviors when enemies follow you in a shop.
    3. Bug fixes
    4. Fix a bug where the gardener's corpse doesn't appear even if you never got into the Arboretum.
    5. Fix weird behavior on bosses when reloading a save.
    6. Fix blueprints flying to the player after a reload.
    7. Fix performance issues on Xbox.

    The Bad Seed Improved Carnivorous Plant interactions. Notably with stomps and Telluric Shock.
    You can no longer grab ledges directly leading to spikes.

    The Bad Seed Fixed Carnivorous Plants closing while a cinematic is ongoing.
