About The Game

Anomalous takes users to a fictional and totalitarian city-state called Kosolov. Local authorities managed to brainwash the population and forced residents to work to exhaustion in order to get rich at someone else’s expense. One day, the leaders of an industrial and closed country began to experiment on people. They decided to increase the military potential of the state and began to conduct experiments on dead workers in order to revive them and make them perform their duties again. Attempts to use regenerative biomass and install bioimplants led to a disaster. After this event, the city was filled with mutants.

The main character’s task is to get out of it. The maps are closed and open spaces, which are full of secrets. Among the scenery there are destructible objects. For example: barrels and boxes. Anomalous is a retro first-person shooter. It offers fast and dynamic gameplay in the spirit of shooters from the 90s. There is no need to reload guns here — it is only important to monitor the ammunition. The cartridges themselves, as well as armor and first aid kits, are scattered around the area. You can also find bonuses on the levels that provide temporary boosts such as increased damage. In close combat, the protagonist fights with an axe and a shovel. For attacks from afar, he has a pistol, shotgun, machine gun, rocket launcher, machine gun, double-barreled shotgun, plasma gun, crossbow, sniper and laser rifles. New barrels must also be found in locations. The fighter is able to carry the entire arsenal on himself.
