Dark Hours takes players into a thrilling supernatural heist realm that can be played online with a friend for free. A team of robbers faces unexpected threats that change the course of their usual business. Players join forces to fight against mystical forces unfolding online within the walls of an auction house. In this online game, it is important to find a balance between the desire for profit and the need to remain unnoticed to avoid the attention of dangerous creatures. The game puts a twist on traditional heist scenarios by introducing procedurally generated environments that change with each playthrough.

Teams must adapt their strategies on the fly, using a variety of tools from lockpicks to flashlights — to navigate in the dark. Players constantly struggle between personal gain and the survival of the team, as the noise level increases with each item collected, which can attract unwanted attention from the supernatural threat that roams the halls. Survival in Dark Hours relies on cooperation between team members, but the game has an interesting twist where players can secretly sabotage each other for personal gain. The night wears on with increasing tension as the entity grows stronger, pushing players towards two possible outcomes: find a way to escape or hold out until dawn. The game’s rich locations and three difficulty levels create an environment where the trust between players is as valuable as the loot they hunt.
