About The Game

The Headliners is an indie action game for 1-4 players where you play as journalists documenting an alien invasion of New York City. Armed only with cameras, you and your team must navigate dangerous streets, buildings, and dark alleys to capture the mysterious creatures and the destruction they have caused. The game uses a unique press card system you start with three cards, use one per expedition, and can earn more by taking headline-worthy photos. Survival horror elements are combined with photography mechanics as players must choose between capturing dramatic moments (even the deaths of teammates) and staying alive. The game builds tension through risk-reward gameplay, where getting the perfect shot means putting yourself in harm’s way while managing limited resources and avoiding alien threats lurking around every corner.
