About The Game

Hauntsville is a survival horror game set in the Cursed West, a place full of danger and mystery. Players take on the role of a nameless traveler who is stranded in a ghost town with nothing but their wits and a trusty iron to survive. The goal? Build a homestead, gather supplies, and fight off the monstrous creatures that lurk in the shadows. Whether you’re alone or with friends, the goal remains the same: stay alive in a place where everything is out to get you.

The adventure is built on survival, where resources are limited. You’ll have to chop wood, mine iron, and hunt for food to survive each day. The environment is unforgiving, and every moment spent in the wild brings new challenges. During the day, you can safely explore the city and the surrounding lands, but when the sun goes down, everything changes. As night falls, the town is invaded by terrifying creatures from folklore, and each time darkness falls, it’s a fight for survival.

In Hauntsville, weather plays a major role, changing the dynamics. One minute the sky can be clear, and the next a storm can catch you off guard, forcing you to seek shelter. The unpredictability of both weather and creatures ensures that no two playthroughs will be the same. The environment is constantly changing, and complex systems allow for a different experience every time.
