About The Game

PlanetSmith is a procedurally generated voxel adventure game where you must survive on an alien world after crash-landing with no way to return home. You will explore massive hexagonal block planets with a variety of biomes, from polar regions to desert equators, as well as continents and island chains scattered across the deep oceans. To survive, you will need to craft tools, weapons, and shelters, avoid hostile robots patrolling the surface, and delve into underground dungeons in search of technological artifacts.

The core gameplay involves gathering resources, developing crafts, and exploring both above and below ground to eventually build a spaceship to travel the solar system. Each world is generated at a different size — some are small enough to quickly circle, others are vast enough to spend weeks exploring. An innovative generation system allows for the creation of unique planets with different terrain and biome distributions.

Creative Mode is a sandbox with special tools not available in Survival Mode, including terrain-altering explosives and «TNTree» dynamite that plants forests. Players can build massive structures, sculpt terrain, or create intricate designs without the pressure of survival. The game combines challenging survival mechanics with creative freedom, allowing you to choose between conquering hostile worlds or peaceful construction projects.
