About The Game
Lunar Eclipse begins with the blonde protagonist waking up in her home, where she has lived all her life, now characterized by profound silence and the absence of its inhabitants. This sudden emptiness and change in familiar surroundings prompts her to search for the cause of the disappearances everywhere. Her progression involves moving through dimly lit areas and deserted corridors, areas that hide unknown dangers.
She follows her path, driven by a desire to understand the new state of the world and the fate of everyone else. The gameplay mechanics in Lunar Eclipse focus on exploring specific locations containing many items and solving interconnected puzzles. The gameplay requires the heroine to overcome physical obstacles: climbing structures, crawling through tight spaces, and moving along vertical surfaces to find paths. Successfully solving these logical tasks is presented as a way to understand the essence of the events that are unfolding.
The story unfolds as the protagonist navigates these quiet, dark areas of the once familiar place alone. Combat is a close-quarters, direct confrontation with aggressive opponents. The kitchen knife serves as the main means of self-defense, which requires fighting in close proximity to threats. Every action the player takes during these physical encounters has a direct consequence, turning even encounters with common hostile creatures into tense moments that require precise execution. The key goal is to survive these encounters while simultaneously uncovering the reasons for global changes and disappearances.
