About The Game

Ship Explorer places the player on the decks of historic ocean liners and military vessels. You will have to navigate the interiors and exteriors of ships such as the SS United States and Morro Castle. The process is focused on studying the design features and operating principles of these machines. This single-player simulation is a digital reconstruction of marine structures, opening access to their history through a detailed examination of units and diagrams from a first- or third-person view.

In the world of Ship Explorer, gameplay involves interacting with various onboard objects. Activating any element launches an information dialogue that reveals the purpose of specific ship systems. It is possible to control certain equipment, such as horns and available weapons, which leads to the launch of corresponding animations. This approach allows you to directly touch the mechanics of each ship, from its power plant to communication equipment.

This project is a sandbox with an immersive effect. In addition to exploration, the game provides control over the surrounding atmospheric conditions. You can freely change the weather patterns, time of day and the current season. It is also possible to rewind moments back to witness key events in the ship's chronology or to inspect compartments that have been inaccessible for decades. A photo mode is provided to document the journey and capture views from any point on board.
