About The Game

Descenders Next is a sports action game that combines racing with roguelike mechanics from a third-person perspective. Riders use snowboards and mountainboards to navigate spacious, procedurally generated locations. The game offers open-world exploration in several biomes: from snowy peaks to winding dirt routes and specially equipped parks. Each run offers a new path, as internal mechanics create unique tracks for each attempt.

This approach also includes tower defense elements and a first-person view for certain activities, providing a varied gameplay experience. You can explore the world alone or join massive multiplayer sessions with other racers online. Descenders Next's physics-based control system gives the user direct control over the character's movements to perform a series of tricks. This game provides built-in tools for recording and editing videos of runs and special maneuvers.

The main goal is to complete challenges throughout the map, which increases the player's status and opens access to further content. The reputation system tracks the player's progress, unlocking new gear and items in return. Character customization allows you to significantly change your appearance with a collection of unique sets of gear, clothing, and boards of varying rarity. The internal currency, DesCents, is earned for successful performances and spent in shops located in these spaces.
