Kemono Teatime puts the player in charge of a tea shop in the world of Melodius, a haven for animal-eared customers. The main task is to prepare signature tea blends for a diverse clientele, where each guest has their own story and preferences. Interaction with these characters is central to the narrative, as their visits are temporary and serve as a prelude to their ultimate fate. Creating a calming atmosphere and serving a warming drink become the main goal in this story-driven simulator, balancing hospitality with the theme of an inevitable ending.

The tea brewing mechanics in Kemono Teatime include 9 varieties of black tea, 15 types of herbs, and various secret ingredients to create unique drinks.
