About The Game

LootMage is a bullet-hell action roguelike developed by CurlyMango that immerses you in a medieval fantasy world filled with procedurally generated dungeons. You play as an adventurer who must survive incessant enemy attacks by collecting weapons, magic staves, heavy swords, and magic orbs scattered throughout the ever-changing dungeon layouts. The core gameplay involves dodging waves of projectiles, fighting ferocious enemies, and developing your character through strategic item combinations and magical essence synergies.

A progression system allows you to retain your skills and knowledge between playthroughs, even if death takes away your collected items. A unique essence system allows you to activate powerful synergies by collecting 2, 4, or 6 items with the same type of magical essence. Combat capabilities are enhanced by mana stones and a special device Gauntlet, which channels magical energy into arcs, allowing you to alter and enhance your abilities.

Each dungeon presents new challenges thanks to procedural generation, requiring you to adapt to new enemies and changing terrain, gradually mastering survival tactics. Success depends on both the luck of finding valuable loot and on cleverly choosing combinations of weapons and items to create your own fighting style.
