Shrines Legacy is a role-playing game in the spirit of classic SNES adventures, developed by Positive Concept Games. Players control two young heroes, Ryo and Reima, who must restore the legendary Sword of Shrine by collecting eight elemental gems scattered throughout the world of Ardemia. The game features real-time combat and a comprehensive RPG system encompassing equipment, stats, and spell mechanics.

The world of Ardemia offers ample opportunities for exploration, from vast overworld areas to intricate dungeons filled with monsters, bosses, and hidden treasures. In secret locations throughout the land, players can discover crafting materials, magical gems, and a currency called Zuell. Combat encounters require strategic use of elemental magic, which also plays a vital role in solving environmental puzzles.

A key feature is the cooperative gameplay system, in which the player always has a companion either controlled by the AI ​​or by a second player in local co-op. The story emphasizes complex moral choices and personal sacrifice, exploring how characters cope with loss and form deeper bonds. As they progress through dungeons and complete quests for various NPCs, the heroes will refine their abilities and learn powerful new spells to combat the growing darkness threatening the survival of Ardemia.
