This title is an unnerving Adventure game that cleverly embeds subtle survival mechanics and time management challenges within its psychological framework. Duil places the player as a stranded explorer in a strange, corrupted world where resources are scarce and time is a genuine threat. The central gameplay system involves the Scavenge and Rest loop. Players must venture out to gather limited materials used for crafting survival tools and restoring health but must return to a designated safe zone to rest before their mental stress meter fills. Interactions with the few surviving NPCs are governed by a real time trust meter that fluctuates based on dialogue choices and resource allocation.
