About The Game

Ecopunk is an indie survival simulator from Zerone Games set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland where civilization has collapsed and mutants and machines roam free. You lead a group of ecopunks determined to rebuild Earth, overcoming harsh survival challenges like famine, disease, and extreme weather by farming, hunting, and crafting defenses. The game features free-form colony building, where you craft your settlement tile by tile, complete with defenses, shelter, and climate control systems, training your colonists in eight professions, from medicine to weapon crafting.

The game centers on the Mother Tree, an ancient entity that you empower by planting seeds and sacrificing enemies to heal ecosystems and gain powerful bonuses. Combat involves defending your base and raiding enemy camps, equipping your survivors with sophisticated weapons, from pistols to shotguns. You'll have to balance the immediate needs of survival with long-term research to discover technologies that will strengthen your colony. The game emphasizes the connection between environmental restoration and player progress: the more you green the wasteland, the more powerful you become. To succeed, you'll need to manage your comfort level, master several crafting systems, and make strategic decisions about resource allocation in an unforgiving world.
