The Wellmonts Case is a psychological thriller in the walking simulator genre, where you take on the role of a private detective investigating the mysterious disappearance of the Wellmont family from an abandoned Maine farm in 1993. You'll wander the gloomy premises of the farm, collecting scattered clues from tattered notes to household objects recording your findings, and gradually building a picture of what happened. The game intentionally blurs the line between reality and hallucination: time flows unevenly, space is distorted, and your perception is constantly tested.

Atmosphere: The Wellmonts Case emphasizes an oppressive sense of loneliness and impending danger. The sound design creaking floorboards, distant rustling sounds, and vague whispers creates a sense of ominous presence.
