About The Game

Lunar Ascendant is a sci-fi political drama that challenges the development of the first lunar metropolis. Managing the limited assets of the city of ARTEMIS requires constant dialogue with representatives of various factions, each pursuing their own goals. The primary dilemma is choosing between declaring complete independence and deepening cooperation with the United Earth Federation. Equally pressing is the question of implementing artificial intelligence systems to improve citizen comfort. However, the population is wary of such technologies, fearing the total algorithmic control already established on their home planet. Full responsibility for the settlement's future rests with its first mayor, David De Silva. Every action has far-reaching political and social consequences, shaping the unique history of the lunar colony.

The events unfold in 2181, when humanity on Earth exists under the watchful eye of the Ultimate Artificial Intelligence. The only remaining stronghold of natural life is the lunar city of ARTEMIS, originally created as a mining outpost. It is in this setting that Lunar Ascendant presents the protagonist with complex moral and strategic challenges. Growing tensions between the lunar enclave and the Earthly federation threaten to escalate into open conflict, requiring balanced decisions. Attempts to improve the residents' standard of living inevitably lead to the introduction of AI, which causes social unrest and threatens stability. This political struggle for the future of humanity is presented in a restrained, ascetic visual style, emphasizing the harsh atmosphere of the lunar colony.
