About The Game

Lakehopper is a realistic flight simulator in which the main goal is to establish logistics between isolated settlements. A global flood has forever changed the familiar landscape. Now, a twin-engine flying boat is the only reliable means of transport. The 360,000 square kilometer map is based on real-world topographic data and offers extremely harsh navigation conditions. Vessel control is based on a complex physics model that takes into account aerodynamics and the fuselage's contact with water. Changing weather conditions directly affect the aircraft's behavior. Any error has serious consequences, forcing careful route planning. A successful flight guarantees increased trust with local non-player factions.

Beyond the controls, Lakehopper gameplay requires careful attention to the seaplane's technical condition. Parts inevitably wear out under constant stress. Ignoring these problems can lead to complete engine failure in the middle of the sky. A deep crafting system allows you to design an aircraft to meet specific needs. Free access to the cabin during flight saves the day in critical moments, allowing for emergency repairs without a forced landing. Cargo delivery forms the economic basis for survival. Earned funds provide the pilot with resources for future modifications.
