About The Game

Ground Zero is a classic survival horror game in the style of the older Resident Evil games, but with a modern twist. You play as Korean operative Seo-Yeun, who, along with Canadian agent Evan, is sent to the site of a meteorite crash in South Korea. A quarantine quickly ensues, as a strange alien mass infects all living things and raises the dead. Initially, you operate separately from your partner, but later, you choose your own path several times and this significantly changes the items you find and the locations you encounter.

The game generously offers large locations: an entire police station can take several hours to complete. You explore every corner, read notes, solve simple but enjoyable puzzles, and constantly think about where to go next. The combat system is reminiscent of Resident Evil 4: there are parries, dodges, and a wide variety of weapons, including unusual ammo. Ammo and inventory space are always in short supply, especially at the start, so you have to conserve and sometimes finish off enemies with a knife. Fixed cameras, pre-rendered backgrounds, and a tense atmosphere create that same old feeling of exploring an unknown world.
