About The Game
The events of the game ReCore — unfold in an alternative world of the distant future, when the surface of the Earth is no longer home to humanity. In search of a new home, people began to surf space. Ultimately, they managed to find a planet whose atmosphere was close to that of Earth. The colonization and terraforming of a new abode of humanity began on the outskirts of the galaxy. The planet was nicknamed Far Eden. At some point, the situation got out of control. June was supposed to take over as a mechanic as soon as she woke up from cryogenic sleep. However, after awakening, she found around her only devastation and deranged robotic workers, who destroyed the colonists and seized power over New Eden. Now the main character must understand the current situation, find out the reasons for this behavior of robots and save the planet.In terms of gameplay ReCore is a 3D action platformer with a third-person camera view and a huge world open for free exploration. During the game, June destroys opponents, explores locations, solves non-trivial puzzles and overcomes all sorts of difficulties, from obstacles and traps to bosses. In all this, the protagonist is assisted by a companion robot. A heavy large-caliber rifle hangs behind the girl’s seemingly fragile shoulders. Other weapons are not foreseen, which cannot be said about the types of ammunition: the types of rifle shells are designed for all occasions, which brings a bit of variety to the local combat mechanics. Shootouts with enemies look dynamic and aggressive, largely due to the fact that you need to use elements of the environment and tactics to defeat the spiteful critic.
