About The Game
Touhou Luna Nights — is a platformer that immerses you in the atmosphere of gothic mysticism. The main character is Sakuya Izayoi, who works as the senior maid for the vampire Remilia Scarlet. The girl calmly did housework when the mistress deprived her of her strength and sent her to the Magic space. Sakuya searches for her way home and seeks to find out what her treacherous boss is up to. Events take place inside the ancient castle. On his wanderings around the enchanted place, Izaya will meet two assistants Nitori Kawashiro and Hieda no Akyuu. The first is an engineer willing to provide weapons for local currency. The second saves progress and provides helpful advice.In addition to friendly NPCs, there are enemies and bosses. The latter are the wards of the vampire, have a wide radius of attack and become stronger with each level. Individual opponents are not inferior in complexity to the leaders: they teleport, become invulnerable for a short period of time, respawn several times, and have thick armor.
The maid’s fighting style includes time management. It can be slowed down to make it easier to dodge enemy attacks, or even stopped. Silver knives, which the heroine deftly throws at opponents, have become a weapon for the destruction of local evil spirits. In addition to enemies on the way, there are other obstacles in the form of moving platforms, spinning blades, spikes. As the game progresses, the character is pumped, increasing his health, mana, the duration of the stop time and the number of knives thrown. Even at the levels there are cards with special moves and items that give additional abilities. For example, Sakuya gets a double jump and roll.
