Neurodeck Psychological Deckbuilder — is a oneiric card game with RPG elements, played out in the human subconscious, which is not lacking in the fight against the past and monsters inspired by real phobias. The game is the result of a collaboration of several independent indie creators including Tavrox Games and is produced by Goblinz Studio, known for launching games such as Sigma Theory and Banners of Ruin. Gameplay in Neurodeck begins with a psychological test with a series of questions to build our profile and understand unconscious fears that may seem irrational. However, they are usually deeply rooted in our memories, and they are preceded by a traumatic event that we do not always remember or simply do not want to remember.

To do this, we go deeper into our consciousness, because the best way to deal with uncontrollable fear is to measure and understand its cause. The road, however, is not easy, because the subconscious consists of a huge labyrinth filled with various types of monsters. They are inspired by phobias known from real life, and, depending on how we approach them, represent a greater or lesser threat that we must fight. This is accomplished by playing cards in our mental deck. After the test, we get a basic deck, which gradually increases as the adventure progresses in exchange for overcoming further difficulties. The card aspect here can be compared to what we know from Slay the Spire, except that our character must be careful not only in terms of life, but also with the level of mental health during the adventure. There are also RPG elements that are not the core of the game, but they can make the game easier, because in addition to giving points in statistics, we will learn strong skills, which, in turn, can often save us during a skirmish. All this makes Neurodeck a game that offers a lot of playability and variety.
