MotoGP 21 — is the next installment in the popular series of motorcycle racing games with simulation elements. As in the previous installments of the series, the game is officially licensed from the World Motorcycle Championship, so it includes not only real tracks and bikes, but also classes, teams and riders. The game was developed by the Italian studio Milestone, which oversees the brand’s development and also has the WRC and RIDE series in its portfolio. In MotoGP 21, we compete for championship in five classes, namely MotoGP, Moto2, Moto3, MotoE and Red Bull MotoGP. The game includes all the events from the real season calendar of the 2021 World Motorcycle Championship, so we race against real riders, and we can also represent one of the official teams or start our own.In addition, we are fighting for the first place in the finish line on more than twenty real tracks, led by Mugello, Silverstone and Assen. In addition, historical races, known from previous versions, appeared here, in which we play the roles of more than forty racers and drive their legendary cars. Competition isn’t just about choking, cornering and overtaking rivals. The series is renowned for its realism, so on the track we have to pay attention to things like fuel level, tire wear or mechanical damage to our motorcycle. In this production, the authors decided to go even further, which led to the need to control the temperature of the brakes, as well as a system that takes care of the correct behavior of the car’s suspension. Another thing is that races are built according to different rules, which we must obey.
Moreover, this time the fall does not lead to a rapid rebirth and return to competition instead, we must, in direct control of the competitor, get up, walk up to the car, and pick it up ourselves. An additional problem is created by the advanced AI of competitors A.N.N.A., which, using machine learning technology, closely monitors our actions and tries to adapt to them, improving their skills. The game also features an extensive management system for our team. The best people we can hire, such as personal managers, chief engineers, and data analysts, can shape our career path. In addition, the game has an editor that allows you to customize the appearance of your rider’s suit, helmet and bike; you can change their color and, among other things, decorate with stickers. At the heart of MotoGP 21 is an expansive career mode in which you gradually gain fame and participate in increasingly prestigious races. In addition, the game has historical challenges, as well as the opportunity to take part in a single race. The game also offers a multiplayer mode in which players compete using dedicated servers.
