About The Game
Wolfpack — is a cooperative simulator set in a submarine. Team up with four more players, where each of you will take your own position in the management of the ship. The events take place during the Second World War. You are on a submarine with destroyers, corvettes and patrol ships. Troops, missions, weather conditions and many other elements are randomly generated. The main objectives in Wolfpack are such tasks as intercepting enemy positions, attacking an enemy convoy and leaving the battlefield in stealth mode.The success of the operation depends on the teamwork of the participants. The gameplay places great emphasis on the submarine’s system processes, interaction with valves, levers and ship mechanisms. The submarine is controlled by five players the captain, the helmsman, the officer of the watch, the radio operator and the navigator. Everyone takes their position. The radio operator uses a hydrophone, radio transmitter, radio direction finder and Enigma encryption machine. The helmsman indicates the direction and assigns the speed, and also calculates the data for the attack. The watchman is responsible for the dive, using the rudder and ballast tanks, plus watches from the bridge and sits down at the deck weapons. The navigator determines the position and charts a course for capturing enemy objects.
The captain is in charge of the entire gameplay. The simulator is aimed at maximum realism, fully simulating the principle of operation of the submarine. The developers place an emphasis on a calculating mechanism, manual navigation and a vessel identification guide. All models of submarines, weapons, shells, soldier uniforms, etc. were accurately recreated from archival photographs and documentary chronicles.
