About The Game
Hatch — is a climbing simulator and adventure game. In this game you will have to do a lot of parkour and rock climbing. The indie project uses low-poly graphics, styled after the first 3D hits of old consoles, and a first-person view. The average game time is from 30 to 60 minutes. However, it all depends on the skill level of the user. The title has no real plot. In Hatch, all that is shown is how a humanoid is born from an egg, after which the gameplay begins. This creature must be controlled. The W, A, S, D keys are for moving, shift and space bar for running and jumping. Pressing R will revive the character at the nearest checkpoint. The camera is controlled with the mouse.The object of the game is to climb to the top of the tower. The main character can only cling to those walls that have at least an obtuse angle. On steep surfaces, the hero moves by jumping or walking. The developers tried to convey the sensations that you experience when you climb a rock and achieve your goal at the end. In this respect, the gameplay is challenging. The main character often falls from a great height and dies. After death, he will appear at checkpoints. The gameplay is built around only one mechanic. There are no enemies or puzzles here. The on-screen interface is completely absent.
