Finding Paradise — implements an unusual idea and at the same time uses a genre that is quite suitable for this. This is a visual novel about doctors Eve Rosalyn and Neil Watts. They are engaged in an unusual business they plunge into the human consciousness, looking for memories that are valuable to the patient or immersing him in the events of the past. Unfortunately, such manipulations are carried out only with people who are on the verge of death. Taking one of the patients, experts discover an amazing feature — his memories move in a spiral, transferring people from the last years of life to childhood and back. From this point on, the main part of the story begins.

In terms of gameplay, Finding Paradise doesn’t offer any complex mechanics. The heroes move through the locations that are displayed in the memories, collecting key items and interacting with the characters. The emphasis here is on storytelling, so throughout the gameplay there will be a lot of dialogue inserts and reflections of the characters. At the same time, gamers do not have mandatory tasks. If it is clear in advance where the key thing is located, or, on the contrary, the search for it has dragged on, you can take your time and start exploring the location. Characters that do not play a large role in the plot are also available for interaction and can tell something new. At the same time, such a move does not violate the integrity of the narrative in any way, thanks to which you can continue to follow the development of events without focusing on side activities.
