About The Game

DO NOT OPEN is a dynamic puzzle game with horror elements. The main events take place in the United States. There is a mysterious estate in the middle of nowhere in Maryland where a whole group of senior university students who were planning to make a film about the place disappeared one day. Later, in the same region, a mother and daughter disappeared when they got lost in the forest. The main character, a scientist named Michael, came here voluntarily to uncover the secret of these places and save his family. But it soon turns out that perhaps this house belonged to an ancient sorceress, and now some evil entity begins to pursue it.

The protagonist needs to flee, but getting out from the inside is incredibly difficult. Despite the fear, he does not plan to leave here without his wife and daughter, so he is ready to continue making his way through the mysterious rooms in order to free his relatives. The gameplay of DO NOT OPEN combines elements of a runner and a spatial puzzle. The player will constantly adjust the timer. If time runs out, a signal will sound and the man will need to urgently complete a certain task in order to survive. Otherwise, the game may end. Thanks to procedural environment generation, each run will be truly unique. The contents of each room are random, which means that it is almost impossible to guess what awaits behind the next door. The puzzle and logic puzzles are also changing. There will simply be no universal passage, which significantly increases the replayability of the project.
