According to the plot of the game, in 1980, a mysterious monolith in the form of the impossible Penrose Triangle appears on Earth from nowhere and takes its place in heaven. The technologies derived from Penrose significantly expand the human understanding of the laws of physics, the properties of matter and computer systems, accelerating progress by hundreds of years.
