Night Book — an occult adventure thriller based on the FMV technique. The main character of the Night Book is Loraline, who accidentally summons a demon to her house. How her fate will turn out depends on the decisions we make. The protagonist of the Night Book is Loraline. In the absence of her husband, who is away from home, a pregnant woman cares for her mentally ill father, and also works as a remote translator. One night, unaware of the consequences of her actions, she reads an ancient book and summons the demon to her home. From now on, her life turns into a real nightmare, and how her fate will turn out depends on the decisions we make.

In terms of mechanics, Night Book is not too different from what we are used to from other FMV productions. During the game, we follow the conversations that the heroine has with the help of the webcam, gradually getting to know both Loraline herself and the relationships that connect her with specific people. As befits a thriller, as the game progresses, we witness more and more horrific events with the participation of the main character. From time to time we have to make choices that affect the further course of the story and determine the fate of the protagonist, which leads to one of several endings. Apart from the interface, Night Book has no visual elements; The game consists only of scenes with the participation of real actors. The lead actors are Julie Dray Avenue 5 and Colin Salmon Resident Evil, Mortal Engines. It is worth noting that the entire project was filmed remotely during blocking.
