About The Game

A Webbing Journey puts the gamer in the shoes of a small spider exploring a living space. The project is based on the use of the web as the main means of movement and interaction with the surrounding world. The player moves along any surface, including ceilings and walls, using web threads to move and work with objects. The environment reacts to actions, allowing you to control many household objects in the house.

Moving along different planes, you can view the environment from different angles. In A Webbing Journey, the interior of the house acts as a vast field for activity, offering areas from the kitchen to the study and living room. The character takes on tasks aimed at helping the people living here. Among the assignments are cooking, washing dishes, or caring for houseplants. To solve these issues, you need to use the spider’s abilities to manipulate objects and create routes through a large room.

The process includes discovering secret places hidden in different parts of the home. Movement through the air is accomplished by swinging, using web attachments on structural elements. The player can construct complex web structures by stretching sticky threads across rooms, connecting floors to ceilings or walls to each other. Interacting with objects allows them to be moved or change their state by hooking them with webs. Some objects are destroyed by physical impact.
