The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles v1.0 - CODEX

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles — is a compilation developed by Capcom that features updated versions of the legal dramas of the 2015 adventure video games The Great Ace Attorney Adventures and The Great Ace Attorney 2 Resolve 2018. Both games were originally released on the Nintendo 3DS console and never left Japan. Thus, this set marks the debut of these games in the English version. According to the plot, the project is a prequel. The protagonist is Ryunosuke Naruhodo, a young Japanese man who lived in the 19th century, the ancestor of Phoenix Wright. In total, the collection offers ten major cases set in Japan and the UK. The action begins when Ryunosuke is charged with the murder of a university professor where he is studying English. He is protected by his friend Asogi Kazuma, who is about to graduate from law school.

If the player manages to find the real criminal and acquit the protagonist, Kazuma and Naruhodo will travel to Great Britain, where the first of them wants to learn the secrets of Western justice. Unfortunately, dramatic events will take place during the trip that will ultimately put Ryunosuke on the path of a legal career. The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles builds on the movements of the previous installments in the series. Each case is divided into two stages. During which we search places, collect evidence and evidence, and interview witnesses. After the completion of the preparation, the time comes for the trial, during which we must present our own theory and confirm it with arguments and evidence. Identifying inaccuracies in the testimony of witnesses caused by the prosecution is also key.

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles offers several new features that significantly affect the gameplay. This time, in addition to the judge, six juries are taking part in the trials. Its members decide for themselves when to vote on the guilt or innocence of the accused. However, if the verdict is not in our favor, we are given the opportunity to speak with each member of the jury. If we can convince four out of six, the decision is canceled and the trial resumes. During the investigations, the protagonist is often assisted by a detective named Herlock Sholmes you know who this character is parodying. Associated with it is the second major innovation in the form of collaborative thinking.
