Glorious Companions is a turn-based tactical RPG set in the open world of Navaroth, where players lead a group of warriors through two distinct campaigns. The game takes place in Terskar, a land divided between humans (Valrenai) and red lizards (Skarres), where an ancient conflict has temporarily died down. Players face a new crisis when mysterious giant statues called naalans begin to awaken, and the King of Valrenai calls for brave adventurers. Gameplay focuses on recruiting, training, and equipping troops for two factions, each with unique classes and abilities. Players can purchase equipment from merchants or enemy loot, and develop their companions through various skill trees.

Combat encounters escalate from simple bandits to challenging dungeons with unique bosses, and players are rewarded with powerful mythical artifacts. The game features a massive open world spanning nine diverse regions, from icy tundra to volcanic landscapes filled with landmarks and settlements. Players can explore the territories of both the Valrenai Kingdom and Skarres Arkanath, facing various opportunities and threats. The game features online multiplayer and local PvP options, allowing players to test their tactical skills in limited-point combat. This action-RPG focused on world-building and combat challenges players to forge their legacy in Terskar by unraveling the mystery of the awakening Naalans and collecting Vault Crystals to put an end to the Wrath of Xandar.
