Sniper Elite Resistance opens a new chapter in the series, focusing on covert operations during World War II. Set in the heart of occupied France, players take on the role of Harry Hawker, an agent of the Special Operations Executive (SOE) working with the French Resistance. His mission is to destroy a new Nazi weapon so dangerous that it could change the course of the war. As Hawker, players will engage in stealth combat, choose tactics, and solve a variety of objectives. The design encourages both strategy and adaptation, allowing gamers to approach missions from different angles. The campaign can be played solo or in co-op mode, adding a layer of strategy and teamwork.

Players can choose different infiltration points and capture zones, opening up different paths to mission success. Working together with a partner to complete objectives, sharing supplies, and reviving each other during intense combat moments adds a dynamic feel. This will make every playthrough feel different, depending on the decisions you make and how you work together as a team.
