About The Game

Hired 2 Die is a unique survival horror game that combines strategic planning and paranormal investigation. In a world where human perception distorts reality, you work for the mysterious Intersection company as a specialist in combating dangerous entities called Distortions — manifestations of human psychological stress that appear in the form of strange objects and creatures. The gameplay revolves around completing contracts in dark, distortion-filled rooms, where you must carefully manage resources such as energy and light, performing a variety of tasks from simple organizational ones to complex system repairs. Using the security system computer, you can monitor CCTV footage to track threats and manipulate the environment, including using sound systems, to distract creatures from your path.

The game features both single-player and co-op modes with voice chat allowing for strategic coordination between players. Progress is made by completing contracts of varying difficulty, earning money to buy better equipment, such as flashlights and tools from the shop. What sets Hired 2 Die apart is its focus on hunting paranormal creatures rather than simply surviving them, coupled with strategic resource management and security manipulation mechanics. Each mission requires careful planning, understanding of the map, and effective use of the available tools, making it a thoughtful take on the horror genre.
