About The Game

The Use of Life transports players to a magical world with Gothic elements. Players take control of a chosen character, complete various quests, level up their protégé, and shape the outcome of their life. Players can influence the protagonist's preferences and mindset, which in turn will influence the choice of one of the possible endings of the gripping gameplay. In The Use of Life, players will engage in bloody team-based battles and confront powerful and cunning bosses that require specialized combat tactics to overcome.

Ultimate victory over these relentless and persistent opponents will be determined by the protagonist's strategies and skills, who can act three times per turn during a conflict with an enemy. All events unfold in a captivating gamebook style, with the appropriate use of special dice rolls. Depending on certain character actions, everything that happens in the storyline can suddenly change and impact the further development of gameplay. The hero can also, at their discretion, acquire a magical or combat skill, improving it at the right moment and leveling it up just enough to use resources wisely and advance their class by another level.
