About The Game

Revenge of the Mage is a first-person action RPG that combines magical combat with shooter mechanics. As a powerful mage, you’ll battle hordes of enemies, collecting their essence to become stronger. The game features multiple characters called Ancestors, each with their own elemental abilities and offering different playstyles. The progression system revolves around a card-based upgrade mechanic, with over 30 unique cards that can be upgraded multiple times to keep each run fresh and different. Players can customize their combat approach with a combination of active and passive spells, creating a variety of builds to overcome increasingly difficult challenges.

The game’s design emphasizes fantasy power and replayability, with a steady stream of unlockable content, including new Ancestors and abilities. Combat includes both offensive spells and defensive maneuvers, culminating in battles with champions and bosses. While the revenge story remains intentionally vague, the focus is on the satisfying cycle of fighting, gaining new abilities, and tackling more challenging challenges.
