About The Game
Pendragon — is a turn-based strategy game inspired by the legend of King Arthur. The action begins in 673. Jealous Sir Mordred leads to the dissolution of the Knights of the Round Table. King Arthur will have to fight the last war of his life if he wants to save the ideals on which Camelot was built. Pendragon is an unusual story-driven strategy game. When starting the game, we select one of several characters. Each of them has unique features that affect the storyline and the possibilities available in the game. For example, Morgan le Fay is insidious, Sir Gawain abuses alcohol, Lancelot still looks at the world like a Frenchman, and Queen Guinevere suffers from the mistakes of the past.Our chosen character embarks on a journey through a mythical version of seventh century Britain. Along the way, we complete tasks, conquer territories and recruit comrades, whose characters and abilities change with the development of history. Turn-based battles also play a key role.
Each move the player has to make difficult decisions that determine the further development of the story. The scenario is completely non-linear, so that the whole can be played many times, each time getting a completely different story.
Anyone can die, even the character we chose in the beginning. Ultimately, all our decisions and actions affect whether Arthur will face Mordred alone or he will be helped by his comrades, thereby increasing the chances of the monarch’s victory. Pendragon only offers single mode. The game offers an eye-catching board game-inspired graphic design that has been built around an updated version of the ink engine used in the studio’s previous games, as well as Where The Water Tastes Like Wine.
