Okaeri v1.0 - PLAZA

Okaeri is a rather interesting Japanese horror film mixed with a walk simulator, in which you have to play the role of an ordinary Japanese schoolgirl who returns home and finds strange things. The events of the game take place in an ordinary Japanese provincial town. According to the plot, the main character, a Japanese schoolgirl, returns home from school late in the evening and discovers an empty house instead of a mom waiting for her, in which something strange happened. Now she needs to find out by all means what happened, where to do her mother, and why everything around looks so gloomy. But this will not be easy, so get ready for the worst.

The gameplay in Okaeri is quite simple and is based primarily on walking simulations. You will not be able to run, jump, or do anything extra — all you can do in this game is to explore the world around you, interact with various objects and look for clues, while solving various simple physical puzzles along the way.

Everything happens in the first-person view mode. Thanks to this and the fact that this game imitates the aesthetics of VHS, a simply unimaginable atmosphere is created. Plus, the atmosphere itself adds atmosphere. Dark corridors, things and various objects scattered on the sides, strange events and situations, frightening sounds coming from different directions — all this creates an atmosphere in which you inadvertently become nervous. At the same time, in Okaeri you will not be able to lose your mind. You should be as attentive, persistent and observant, because only in this way will you see what an ordinary person will not be able to see.

Another advantage of this game is that the ending in it can be different. It all depends on how many tips you find during the passage of the game, what items you will find, and what you will interact with.
