Octopath Traveler v22.07.2020 - PLAZA

Octopath Traveler was considered one of the main exclusives of this year for the Nintendo Switch. As soon as its creators advertised: they drew parallels with Final Fantasy VI, and released two demos, and insisted that this was a Japanese game from Japanese developers, not trying to fall in love with a Western audience. The project was to return players to the «golden age» of RPG, to become a modern classic in the spirit of Chrono Trigger.

The main characters in the game are eight, and the first letters of their names add up to the word octopath. They all live on the Osterra continent and are not aware of each other’s existence. And they may never know — only you decide who will meet with whom. The first character you choose will become the main one — he will be a leader whom you can’t get rid of until the end of his story. You get to know the rest by visiting neighboring villages and inviting them to your squad. Or leaving in the tavern — not enough for all places, you can wander with only three partners.

The reasons why the characters are going on a trip are completely different for everyone. Dancer Primrose avenges the death of her father, tracing his killers — her story is the darkest against the rest. The cheerful girl Tressa, who is engaged in trade with her parents, receives a wanderer’s diary as a gift and sets off in his wake. Scientist Cyrus is trying to find lost books that, according to the librarian, no one has seen for many years.

Not all stories are equally interesting — the first chapter for Orphilia, for example, was so long that I skipped part of the dialogues, and nothing changed in the future. But the episodes from Primrose, which has attracted since the time of the first «demo», did not disappoint even once. Hunter Haanit is also fascinating to watch, but get ready to listen to Shakespearean dialogues with outdated words and phrases over and over again. Sometimes you can even hear how hard it is for an actress to read them in the English version.

Due to the non-linear manner of narration, the developers were forced to make all eight stories separate from each other. After all, no one knows in what order you will look for people and who you like best. Therefore, there is no connection between events. You meet a potential companion, look at its background, take it with you, and in the following chapters you see in videos on the engine only one character. The rest do not take any part in them — they only appear during battles and when moving around the map.

How to Install the Game

1. Download the Full game Octopath.Traveler.MULTi9-PLAZA through torrent.
2. Mount the Full ISO-image game in the «UltraISO».
3. Install the game on you PC, wait for 100% installation.
4. Copy all files of the folder «PLAZA» in game folder.
5. Lock the game folder in the Windows firewall.
6. Play!
