Getsufumaden Undying Moon — is a 2D action game based on the game model of the well-known Castlevania series. The game takes place in a fantasy universe known from the game Getsu Fuma Den. The game offers a variety of spectacular action games with elements of the roguelite subgenre, as well as a beautiful setting based on hand-drawn illustrations. It was developed by studio GuruGuru and published by Japanese company Konami. The player takes on the role of a mystically powerful protector of living beings a member of the Getsu clan who fights against evil spirits. The protagonist descends into ever lower levels of hell to find and eliminate the cause of the monstrous cataclysm that has hit the world. Getsufumaden Undying Moon is a 2D side-scrolling platformer.

It’s about moving around the map often we have to jump and use the hero’s abilities to get to certain places and fight against the emerging enemies including powerful bosses for example, a five-headed hydra or a giant centipede. In battles, we use melee weapons for example, katanas, spears or combat umbrellas, which can be strengthened over time. Agility and a good sense of rhythm are key factors we must avoid enemy attacks. We also have access to various special attacks and reinforcements obtained by devouring the souls of fallen enemies.
