Crown of Chaos immerses the player in the urban labyrinth of an old city, where navigating the alleys is fraught with constant risk. Unspecified dangers lurk in hidden areas around corners, creating an atmosphere of constant threat. The main means of interaction and defense are the 2 katanas given to the protagonist. It is necessary to explore these locations, coping with gradually increasing difficulties. The key goal of this game test is to hold out against the forces at play for as long as possible.

The gameplay of Crown of Chaos takes place on the deserted streets and roads of this old settlement. Creatures appear from dark places, purposefully pursuing the protagonist to eliminate him. All interactions are built around the use of 2 katanas; these blades are the central tools for repelling attacks and moving forward. The outcome of clashes often depends on the ability to anticipate the actions and maneuvers of opponents in tense situations.

Each skirmish tests reflexes and strategic thinking in combat scenarios. Eliminating enemies gives experience, which helps develop the protagonist’s abilities to withstand future threats. In parallel, enemies become stronger, maintaining constant pressure without respite. The environment provides almost no cover, increasing the consequences of any tactical errors in movement or combat.
